We love Christmas and John really loves Christmas! We went along to Middleport Pottery to see their Christmas lights switch on, and to enjoy some hot, spicy apple juice and mince pies.

Churchyards are full of history and Stoke Minster is no different. Its history dates back to 670AD and still has the remains of a stone Saxon cross, from 805AD, standing in the churchyard!

Wedgwood is a well-known name around the world for producing pottery and the famous Wedgwood Blue Jasperware. On this trip we went to visit the World of Wedgwood.

As a fan of history, I love visiting old places, so for this visit we went to a Victorian pot bank - Gladstone Pottery Museum in Stoke-on-Trent. It's a lot of fun and we learned something too!
