Support Us

Everything here is free to read and always will be. If it's helped your family plan a day out, you can chip in towards the next one.

Everything on this site is free to read, and it always will be. No paywall, no members-only reviews, no "sign up to see the accessibility information" — because that information is exactly what families like ours need before we commit to a day out, and hiding it behind a wall would defeat the point.

If something here has saved you a wasted journey, or helped you find a place that actually works for your family, you're very welcome to send a one-off tip. It's entirely optional and nothing on the site changes either way.

Where it goes

We visit venues as ordinary paying visitors most of the time, which is deliberate — it's the only way to know what a normal family's day out actually looks like. That has costs attached:

  • Admission and carer tickets for venues that haven't offered us access, so reviews stay honest rather than limited to places that invite us
  • Fuel and parking to reach venues further afield, which is most of the ones people ask us about
  • Running the site — hosting, the domain, and the email that keeps your messages arriving

Any tip goes straight back into the next visit.

Other ways to help — all free

Money not the only way to help us. These are the other ways to help:

  • Subscribe. It's free, and new reviews land in your inbox rather than relying on you remembering to check back.
  • Watch and share a video. Our YouTube channel reaches far more families than the site does, and a share or a comment does more for that than anything else.
  • Tell us about a venue. Good or bad — get in touch.
  • Pass on the directory. Our guide to UK carer tickets and disabled admission prices has a lot of useful information.

The small print

Tips are voluntary and don't buy anything. There's no hidden content, no perks, and no difference in what you can read.

We're a family blog, not a registered charity, so tips aren't charitable donations and aren't eligible for Gift Aid.

Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card details, and you don't need an account with us to send one.

Thank you — for reading, for the messages, and for telling us where you've been. It's the reason this keeps going.
